Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation is pleased to announce that the Auburn Hills Community Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to expand our Healthcare Navigator 4 Seniors Program. The Healthcare Navigator 4 Seniors Program will provide direct support for seniors to access healthcare services and programs, including community education for seniors and caregivers about the services and programs they may qualify for and how to connect to these resources. This grant will impact our community by increasing the number of seniors we can help in Southeast Michigan and Auburn Hills to increase awareness in the community of accessible programs for seniors.
“This grant will help Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation guide vulnerable seniors in our community who have run out of options and to help our team meet the growing demand for at-risk seniors who do not have social support at home as their health declines. We are so grateful to The Auburn Hills Community Foundation for supporting our mission.” Wendy Jones, Founder and President of Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation.
The Auburn Hills Community Foundation The AHCF’s goal is to assist in funding worthwhile community endeavors that strengthen and enrich the community. The Foundation’s areas of focus include senior citizens, veterans and active duty military, children, healthy living initiatives, and environmental issues. Grants are awarded to non-profit groups, schools, and local units of government that will impact Auburn Hills citizens.
Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation provides programs and services to bridge the financial gap for low-income and the “forgotten middle” seniors in need of proper housing and care. Through faith, hope, and love, we ensure these vulnerable seniors can live out their years with dignity and grace.
